Review

In the buzzy Palermo Hollywood district of Buenos Aires, Hotel Clasico is a great option for those wanting a comfortable and well-located base for exploring Buenos Aires. Its modern design and close proximity to a number of good restaurants make it an easy hotel to recommend for anyone looking for an inexpensive option in one of the best areas for nightlife.

Opened in 2015, the Hotel Clasico is a relatively new three-star boutique hotel in Palermo Hollywood. The hotel is a twenty-minute walk from Palermo Soho meaning you can walk to the cafés and shops of Palermo Soho during the day but enjoy being within close walking distance of some great restaurants in the evenings.

The feel of the hotel is a mixture of old and new with an urban, modern design in the common areas such as the open plan breakfast room and diner, which is blended with classic features like dark panelled corridors, wooden floors and hardwood furniture.

The hotel has 32 rooms, which are spread out across four floors, each floor containing five queen bedrooms and three king bedrooms. Rooms are furnished with comfortable beds and double-glazed windows that block out outdoor noise while the bathrooms are fairly spacious and come with a shower bath.

While it’s not a hotel that’s going to blow you away for the level of service or wide range of facilities, it does a great job for what it offers – location, comfortable accommodation and a good breakfast to set you up for a day of exploring Buenos Aires.

Great location, value for money

Not for those wanting lots of facilities
