Review

Unlike its neighbour, La Comarca, the Casa de Adobe feels like it doesn’t have enough space and there is a feeling of rooms and communal areas being squashed on top of each other in order to get everything in. If you can look past this feature, however, the Casa de Adobe is a good little hotel that has plenty of facilities and is in a great location for seeing the seven coloured hills.

The first thing that you notice as you arrive in the Casa de Adobe is the swimming pool. Much of the hotel has been styled in a contemporary fashion and so they have created a stepped lawn that runs up to the small pool. Why we found this strange is that this then means that, if you are a guest and want o relax beside the pool for the day, you are in full view of the car park!

Inside the hotel things are much better, the main areas have been really well thought out and, upstairs, they have used local stone and the red adobe brick to give everything a certain charm. Featuring a main restaurant and a bar/café styled area at the front, which is ideal for looking at the views, there is a relaxed atmosphere.

The rooms, likewise, have been well considered and have all of the facilities that you would expect from a hotel of this standard.

On the whole the Casa de Adobe is a good property, but it does feel like they have had to make as much as they can out of a limited area.

Contemporary design, good rooms, private cabanas
